Things have gone from bad to absolutely bonkers for Zachery Ty Bryan, the former child star who played Brad Taylor on "Home Improvement."
Just days after reports surfaced of his and his fiancée's arrest, even more shocking details are emerging from the Lane County Sheriff's Office in Oregon.

According to their official statement, cops responded to a call about a possible reckless endangerment situation way out in Fall Creek this past Wednesday, November 29th.
Apparently, Zachery, 44, and his main squeeze, Johnnie Faye Cartwright, 32, were tooling around the area with their three young children when things went sideways.

Law enforcement sources say that at some point, Bryan hopped out of their truck and started hoofing it down Big Fall Creek Road.
Then, in a twist worthy of a daytime soap opera, Cartwright allegedly tried to RUN. HIM. OVER.

And get this, the kids were still in the truck when she allegedly plowed it into a ditch trying to hit her fiancé, according to the police statement.
Thankfully, Bryan managed to dodge the vehicular assault, escaping injury. Everyone in the truck was also reportedly unharmed. Seriously, what is going on here?

When deputies arrived, they suspected that both Bryan and Cartwright were under the influence. As if that weren't enough drama, they also discovered that Bryan was *legally* not supposed to be around Cartwright at all!
Cartwright was hauled off to the clink on charges of attempted first-degree assault, three counts of reckless endangerment (presumably for the kids), and driving under the influence. Yikes.
Bryan, for his part, was arrested for violating his probation. His original charge? Assault in the fourth degree, stemming from a domestic violence conviction just last year.

The couple's three children are now reportedly in the care of a family member, according to authorities.
Bryan was denied bail and will remain in custody. Cartwright had her arraignment scheduled for Monday.

This isn't the first time Bryan has been accused of getting physical with Cartwright. Back in 2020, he faced charges of felony strangulation, menacing, assault, and harassment.
Cartwright claimed she woke up to Bryan allegedly attacking her over missing phone chargers, according to a police report.

She alleged that Bryan had been abusive for weeks, even claiming he choked her close to the point of unconsciousness. He was only convicted of menacing and assault then.
Just a couple of weeks ago, on November 13th, Bryan told TMZ that his early fame had "left scars," trying to explain his legal troubles.

"Being thrust into the spotlight at nine years old brought pressures I wasn’t equipped to handle — but that’s no justification for my choices as an adult,” he said, adding that he "deeply" regretted his actions.
Bryan pointed to "the lasting effects of early fame, addiction, and poor decision-making" as the root of his "repeated legal issues."
